About

Born and raised in Leeds, England I moved to the USA on the verge of turning 20 to attend the prestigious College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati. From the Fall of 2001 to the Spring of 2009 I worked as an Assistant Professor of New Media at the University of Cincinnati within the College-Conservatory of Music's (CCM) Electronic Media Division.

While at CCM, I worked on a number of large-scale projection design projects within the United States and Europe. In the summers of 2006 and 2007 I lectured at Munich's Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität as part of the Munich Summer Curriculum. In the spring of 2009 I left the University of Cincinnati, and headed West to Los Angeles, California to explore a new exciting and challenging opportunity at Loyola Marymount University (LMU | LA).

While at LMU | LA, I worked as the Instructional Technology Manager within the ITS Dept. Projects completed at LMU include the launch of the new Faculty Innovation Center (The FIC) within the new $55 Million William H. Hannon Library, including the creation of the FIC website, and various branding and promotional materials for the FIC. The branding and launch of Blackboard 9 as our Course Management System, and branding, website design and development, print collateral and general support for EduSoCal'10, the Educause regional conference held at LMU in late Spring of 2010.

After leaving LMU in late June, I spent a wonderful six months in Singapore on sabbatical. I currently find myself back in the USA working on numerous creative freelance projects.
