In the summer of 2009, I created a series of QuickTime training videos or the PLACE program at Loyola Marymount University (LMU | LA) In addition to these specific PLACE videos, I also created a number of other LMU related QuickTime training videos including LMU | 24/7, which is a look into the use of technology on the LMU campus, MYLMU Connect, a video explaining the new features found in the most recent version of Blackboard, and a video exploring the recently opened Faculty Innovation Center (The FIC)  in the new William H. Hannon Library.

The PLACE Corps is Loyola Marymount University’s nationally recognized Catholic teacher service corps. Built upon the three pillars of Professional Development, Community, and Spirituality, PLACE Corps members earn a debt-free master’s degree and credential while serving as full-time teachers in under-resourced Catholic schools of the Los Angeles Archdiocese. During their two-year commitment, program members live with one another in community while exploring and strengthening their own personal spirituality.

These QuickTime Training Movies were created to better support the PLACE Corps members in their journey, while allowing PLACE members to embrace the technologies that will play a significant role in their future pedagogy.
