A CHANGE IS GONNA COME

I am often amazed at the speed of change taking place here in Dubai. I do, however, wonder what the impact of such overnight, radical change is on the local population. Overnight, road systems seem to be re-invented, new neighbourhoods spring up, and giant new mega-projects are launched. The spirit of reinvention is strong in this nation; I just hope that the country's soul stays intact as the future is built on the ever-changing shifting sands of Dubai.
