Opening this week

A selection of images from my new series, Night Moves, will be shown soon as part of The Gulf and Other Places: Discourses on Architecture, Temporality, Modernity, and Sustainability at the Italian Cultural Institute in Abu Dhabi. The exhibition looks at how architecture, urban growth, and everyday experience unfold across the UAE and beyond. Photography becomes a way of tracing what changes, what disappears, and what we try to hold on to in these shifting landscapes.

Curated by Vania Rontini, the show brings together work by Ioannis Galanopoulos Papavasileiou, Richard Cawood, Omair Faizullah, Moya Goosen and Chris Van Rhyn, Roberto Fabbri, Mohab Karram, Kelly Devrome, Yannis Kontos, Willem Venter, Dean Golja, Lina Ahmad, Marco Sosa, and Ilze Ekisa.

The opening is open to all. After that evening, the exhibition can be viewed by appointment until December 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
