Machine Knitting
I was initially approached by Injoo Kim, Professor of Design at the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, and later formally engaged by Prentice Hall to complete the final development phase of an interactive DVD project that had been delayed for over a year.
The DVD was produced to accompany the forthcoming publication Machine Knitting by Injoo Kim and Ruth Burbank. While the core design and structure had been established by a previous designer, I was brought in to resolve outstanding technical issues, integrate new content and video footage, and prepare the final deliverable. A key requirement was that the DATA DVD be exported as a fully cross-platform hybrid disc, functioning seamlessly on both Mac and PC systems.
Working in Macromedia Director MX, I completed all technical revisions and content updates, resulting in the successful delivery of the final hybrid DVD to the publisher.

It provides step-by-step instruction on machine knitting fundamentals, covering everything from individual techniques to the construction of complete garments, including original patterns, stitch designs, and textures. The publication serves as a comprehensive reference for novice machine knitters.
